the CONCEPT
The Mission
When I first made contact to with the customer she was very upfront and said “Blain, I have a huge yard and I want to try and get it all done and of course I want a pool”.
The Details
The brief was a long one. I stood in their yard with them for a while since the yard was so big we had to really think about where we placed everything. So this is how we solved it. I did a design and Danny did a design. We thought with such a big yard we should both put a take on it. And needless to say of course the best design shined on this one. This pool has two awesome features, an infinity spa and a floating table with built in seating. Awesome looking pool!
The Challenge (because there always is one)
There really wasn’t any challenge with this one other than the fact that we had a lot of square footage to lay in turf and concrete. In fact there was so much concrete needed that we had to pour concrete on two separate days totaling close to 4,000 sq ft. The most important part though is the customer couldn’t be happier with their backyard. They also said that we can use their yard as a show piece anytime we need of course with a call before hand so she can put the dogs away. So overall one of the funnest projects we’ve been a part of.
